Beautiful painting Jennifer, amazing that you have only just started on your artistic journey,, you have got a great tallent and i wish you all the best for the future!! This is truly wonderful and i can't wait to see more!! warm regards, Chris.
Jennifer Frampton replied:
Thank you again, Chris! :-) I'm not sure what took me so long to pick up a paint brush, but ever since that You Tube video I watched (Will Kemp Art School's tutorial on painting a cherry), painting is all I think about. I'm just hoping that I can grow to be able to *create* scenes from my own imagination realistically. So far, I just seem to be getting good at being a human copier machine.

What a de-light for my eyes! Wonderful work, Jennifer! It turned out so very well! Warm smiles to you and happy painting - Lila
Jennifer Frampton replied:
Thank you, Lila! :-) I am so glad I brought it to work. The scanner there sees things the same way my eyes do. My digital camera and my cell phone camera both didn't want to catch the pink/mauve colors. It was giving everything a blue cast that it didn't actually *have*. It was driving me nuts.

Jennifer, why take a picture when you render the image on canvas so wonderfully well! This is a beautiful painting with a great title and description. I look forward to seeing what come off of you easel next. f/v
Jennifer Frampton replied:
:-) Thank you, Douglas! Looking forward to getting this next painting done (a German Shepherd Dog playing in the water) soon so you all can see it.

I suppose you could use your photos and then feel it was totally yours ! But anyway,it is still SO good. The shading and tones are beautifully done.So subtle. And it looks very skilled to me,like from someone who has been painting for years! Really does.
Jennifer Frampton replied:
This is a good point. My Dad has mentioned this, too, but somehow, I can't seem to take a good picture to save my life. LOL! Thank you again for the very high praise. :-)

I was going to visit this new post earlier and forgot! But now I'm here, this is remarkeable! I love the idea of filling the whole canvas with one glorious bloom. It is so big and bold, yet delicately done in such lovely colour combinations.I just love gold with soft mauves! I really love this Jennifer.A beautiful name for a beautiful work!
Jennifer Frampton replied:
Thank you. :-) Wish I could take the credit for the composition of the stuff I've made so far, but I'm just finding images on Google and trying recreate the picture. Once I get enough experience, though, I want to make my own compositions. Then it will really be my art.
