Wonderful painting Jennifer! L
Jennifer Frampton replied:
Hi, Veikko! Thank you for the kind words. Sorry to take so long to acknowledge your comment. (Life has been a bit crazy.)
Carol Wisniewski
Great painting Jennifer, beautiful harmonic colors. v/f
Jennifer Frampton replied:
Thank you, Carol! Wish I could take the credit for the colors, but Nature/God did that. I just mixed the colors that looked like the ones in the reference photo and put them on the canvas. Some day, I would like to create landscapes from my own head, instead of always looking at pictures.
Hanne Lore Koehler
Beautiful painting, Jennifer!!! You are a natural! v/f
Jennifer Frampton replied:
Thank you, Hanne! My goal is to someday make paintings that look like they are photos. I've got a long way to go to get there.
Anand Swaroop Manchiraju
Fantastic piece of art, tough you say it is your first attempt.Beautiful color.and light and shades..
Jennifer Frampton replied:
Thank you, Anand! Yes, this was my first time doing a landscape painting. I'm glad it turned out as well as it did, but I learned a few things during the process that I will know to do differently next time around.

A wonderful painting! Very dramatic and expressive in colors and contrast! Well done, Jennifer!
Jennifer Frampton replied:
Thank you, Xueling! I really enjoyed making this one. I was dying to find out how to make my own version of "happy little clouds" (a la Bob Ross).

This is a beautiful landscape, Jennifer. I love the mixture of color with the silhouettes, plus it is astonishingly similar to a scene I witnessed many years ago. Well done. f/v

I just happened to find this almost straight away! I have been looking at it for a few minutes, and again I 'm astonished that this is one of your first art works! The sky is amazing Jennifer! You have a lovely mix of soft clouds and crisp lines as well as spectacular colours. The very deep darks are so dramatic and look like part of your own special and beautiful style. Wow! Makes me wonder whatever will appear next??? v/f
Jennifer Frampton replied:
Jane, you have to be the nicest person on the planet. Thank you! I just wish I could take better pictures. I was having a hard time with this one because I used glazing medium to blend my colors better, and it caused a lot of unwanted glare/shine on most of my attempts. As for my next project, that will be the German Shepherd Dog project I've decided to give to a local charity auction next month. (I volunteer with German Shepherd Rescue New England.)
